"Just visited for a second time ... breakfast and service was 5+ stars Zach was amazing. When you come in ask for Zach or Ian ... you will get phenomenal service!!! Just had the best omelet Back 40 Burger plus peppers. Thank you Ian and Ray! First time here. Will be back."

"The nachos were burnt. Not the toppings, just the chips. The buffalo wings were cooked correctly and had a nice tang to them. The burgers were grilled nicely, but mine, even asking for it to be prepared extra rare, was overcooked. The chicken sandwich was acceptable, but probably wouldn't be ordered again. The hostess was prompt in welcoming us as we entered the restaurant. The waiter did a great job in remembering our order without writing it down. The hostess visited the table to ensure that everything went well. We will probably go back again, since this wasn't our first visit. Overall, I'd recommend this restaurant."

"Stopped in for lunch being in town from Ohio visiting our son stationed locally. Ordered the loaded Tator Tots - best ever Fish Tacos - unbelievable Back 40 Burger - cooked perfectly and great size Beef Stew - son enjoyed. Waitress was awesome and knew her job. 100% will return."

"We've been here a few times, but today couldn't have been better. Service was so perfect, attentive, friendly...service just flowed without rushing us. Food was hot and delicious. Drinks were on point. We made sure to reflect that with our servers tip. Keep it up!"

"Following my Goddaughter's first communion, Back40 was the first choice for dinner. We had 15 adults and 2 children. Considering it was a fairly large party, they had one large table and one smaller one right behind it that sat six. The waiter came over right away and was very friendly. Before taking our drink orders, he gave us time to get situated. My mom and I ended up getting the traditional eggs Benedict. My husband ordered corn beef hash eggs Benedict and my dad got a burger. All said their food was delicious. Despite the fact that the tables were a little close to other patrons dining, unsure if this was due to the extra table they added for us or if this was the norm, and the limited menu, I would’ve loved to have more choices for brunch, I would still give a solid 5 stars. You will definitely leave full, prices are reasonable, service and food were excellent."

"I visited on a Tuesday for lunch and we were seated right away. The crowd leaned a bit older, and everyone seemed to be enjoying a relaxed midday meal. The atmosphere is super homey — a mix of high-tops, low-tops, and that cozy small-town vibe that makes you feel comfortable right away. I tried a draft cider but passed, then switched to the autumn mule. It was decent, not my favorite, but still a nice seasonal option. For food, we ordered the Taco Tuesday nachos. They were fine, but I could’ve done without the side of cheese — ended up not eating it. The truffle fries were solid, and the shredded beef patty melt was definitely the standout for me. I’d give it a 4/5. Overall, it’s a good spot with a warm atmosphere. I’d come back for the homey vibe and to try a few different menu items next time."

"The food was good. The app was tater tots with bacon, scallions, crema, and cheese. It was very tasty but had it been I bit crisper they would have been a 5. My drink was a tapped apple cidery gravenstein that was absolutely refreshingly delicious. For dinner I had the fish Tacos. Once again, a four because there was not enough sauce nor enough fish and not to come with fries. Although I was told by the server beforehand, it was still a sacrilege. All hot sandwiches should have fries. The tables were spread out which was appreciated because you had a measure of privacy. The place was quite loud and it was 4:45 when we arrived. There are so many hard services there was nothing to calm the sound. There are so many restaurants in the area, I am not in a hurry to return. The service, however was impeccable. Micheal could not have been more kind , caring, and attentive. Major kudos to him."

"Came in because the menu looked like there were some new and delicious items like beef stew and butter nut squash risotto and a few other items. Mike was our server and he was very nice and attentive. We had our drinks right away and our food followed soon after. I had a bowl of the beef stew which was delicious and my husband had the hot chicken sandwich which he loved. I also noticed that are also some great mid-week specials to take advantage of. Excellent!"
